Group and School tours
To make a group reservation, call our Front Desk 410-244-1900. K-12 School Groups are admitted for $5 per person. Adults/chaperones are $7. (For groups of 70 or more, chaperones are free.) Museum hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10AM to 6PM. A minimum of 10 people is required to receive the group discount. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.

The American Visionary Art MuseumÕs 14th thematic mega art exhibition, ÒThe Marriage of Art, Science, & Philosophy,Ó is a wedding of playfulness, intuition, imagination and desire ÐÐ partners common to creative invention of all sort. The exhibitionÕs 50 visionary artists take a fresh look at the very notion of sound, color, number and scale in their pursuit of Wonder.

Central to the exhibition is the idea that the creative power of art and that spark which promotes innovation in science is one and the same. And, further, there need be no barriers between philosophical dialogue and the arena of lively, street-level participation. The end goal is that museum visitors depart better equipped to perceive, receive, and augment all the many wonders encoded into oneÕs everyday life. From fractal quilts to extolling the role Sci Fi plays in inspiring new science, our Marriage of Art, Science & Philosophy mega exhibition is a celebration welcoming to adults and children of all ages.
