Summer Teachers' Institute: Women in the Holocaust

Immerse in learning about women in the Holocaust, through visiting three different institutions.

Immerse in learning at a different museum each day.

A 3-day workshop tailored for teachers.

  • Dates: Monday, August 5 - Wednesday, August 7
  • Time: 8am-5pm
  • Cost: $25 with most meals included, plus transportation to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

In this 3-day institute, teachers will immerse in learning about women in the Holocaust through visits to a different institution each day: the Jewish Museum of Maryland, the United States Holocaust Museum, and the American Visionary Art Museum. A $25 registration includes most meals, plus transportation to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

  • Wednesday, August 7th: American Visionary Art Museum (Breakfast and lunch included)

Participants are eligible to receive MSDE and AU credit for this 3-day workshop.
